📚 HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT! 📚

I am incredibly excited and proud to announce that Gregory Michael World is partnering with Project SHARE for a brand-new community initiative called "Give the Gift of Reading."

Through this initiative, people will have the opportunity to purchase one or more of my children's books to be donated to local children through Project SHARE's Back-to-School Program.

Project SHARE supports thousands of Niagara families each year through programs that provide food assistance, school supplies, and other essential support. This August, they anticipate helping more than 1,000 children prepare for the new school year. While we may not be able to provide a book for every child, every donated book means one more child gets to choose a story to call their own.

But this initiative is about more than simply donating books.

It's about giving the gift of reading.

Children today are growing up in a world filled with screens, phones, tablets, and rapidly advancing technology. More and more, we're seeing kids turn to technology—including AI—to do the thinking, answer the questions, and even complete their schoolwork for them. While these tools can be useful when used responsibly, they should never replace curiosity, imagination, critical thinking, and the joy of discovering things for ourselves.

Books help build imagination, strengthen literacy skills, encourage creativity, and create opportunities for families to connect through stories. One of the best ways we can help children succeed is by getting them excited about reading again.

To make each donation even more meaningful, every donated book will include a special keepsake sticker inside that reads:

"A Gift Just for You"

"This book was generously gifted to you by: ____________"

Donors can choose to sign their own name, dedicate the book in honour of someone special, recognize a loved one, support the initiative on behalf of their business, or simply remain anonymous.

The sticker also shares this message with the child receiving the book:

"Somebody who discovered that books are worlds that you can only explore through reading. Perhaps one day, you'll pass this secret on to someone else."

In addition, I will personally sign every donated edition before it is delivered through Project SHARE.

As a local children's author, I couldn't be more proud to be part of this effort. Together, as a community, we can place stories into the hands of children who need them most and remind them that books still have the power to inspire, educate, and change lives.

The majority of the books available through this initiative are $20 each, taxes included, making it an affordable way to make a meaningful difference in a child's life.
